Why NOT to use Plasti Dip for HHO Cells!

Alright everyone, I ripped apart my cell that was sealed with Plasti Dip the other day, and here's what it looks like. Pretty nasty, really messy, and most of all, it eliminates a LOT of surface area! Cleaning each plate was not the funnest, requiring steel wool and some good ol' elbow grease. Learn from me and use shrink wrap!!

Generally when you use plasti dip on something, it's something that you DONT intend on taking the plasti dip off of!

Duh...I know, I will use a permanent coating on something that it isn't rated for and then whine when I try to remove the PERMANENT coating. Looks like Plasti=Dip did exactly what its supposed to do. LMAO.

why did you put plastidip on your hho cells???

isnt it for decorating? im using some to make the underarmor of my halo suit. works fine for me, dont know what you did.

Hi I actually wanted to dunk the side of my completed Smack GenII cell in a tray with about 1mm of plastic dip and let it dry so that it becomes like an end cap... Im not sure how you used the plastic dip but does my idea sound ok.. Unfortunately my plates are thin and shrink wrap bends them so they touch..

Electrolyte disolves plastic dip. The black stuff that comes off the plates is toxic so besides the plastic dip do not touch the SS plates after being used. Thanks.
