Hey man check my vids if you have time, I'm wondering if there is any advice you can give me to take it to the next level? I love your playing.

Is there any root theory you consider essential to knowing the fretboard?

@dankspanktank Well I dont really have any advice other than practice what you like to listen. Of course it's a huge advantage if you know lots of scales and can play them in any key, but for me playing guitar is about passion and it's up to you to decide what you learn. One of the most important things is to be able to build chords from a certain key.

It seems that you share alot of my influences. You are a very good guitarist. You getting any new gear for christmas and have you wrote any new songs on your seven string?

I'm pretty happy what I got now so I'm not getting any new gear. I have wrote some stuff, but I can't record anything because of my computer. It recently started to lag very much and it goes absolutely crazy everytime when there is multiple programs running.

Fantastic job man! This is the most amazing guitar solo I've ever heard using the Lydian mode, even better than anything I've ever heard from Satriani or Vai, and they use this mode all the time. I know Andy James wrote it, but you're cover of it captures a higher level of energy and emotion, it my opinion, even though Andy James' version is great as well!
