  • The color reminds me of that movie "The Wraith". That purplish hued black.

  • @xFReSHeReST in the 1/16.....if you read my comments im not being a smart ass, and mine is fully capable of 11's NA. my car is real i have a walk around video on my profile. it aint pretty but its fast..funny thing is its set up for road race and still beats most "drag cars" mainly because i dont use alot of bolt on crap its almost all in the build and combination.

  • @MrRusttang and my v6 cutlass is running 8s stock..

  • @RedRudythe945OH i have had more work done since then now i am just shy of 11:1 comp maxed the e7's (they flow better than my out of the box sportsmans) 1:7 RR's stock crank and rods, forged .030 pistons true deck block align honed polished the lifter journals and inserted bronze guides custom ultradyne/bullit cam and retarded it 4 deg. cobra intake, i have the gt40 but i am also running the stormin norman ram air system so gt40 is to tall have NOS but not on yet. uploading walkaround video soon

  • @MrRusttang Well that's the beauty in modifying what you've got, not engine swapping or going FI to gain power. I applaud you for the work with the E7's, I personally wouldn't put time into them but it's quite obvious that it has worked for you. Like you said, velocity not volume can also make a nasty top end setup.

  • @RedRudythe945OH Thanks, im not a egomaniac, i will say that i have been beat by several SBC, and a couple imports, but mine is a true back yard car, and very low budget. All the money was placed in the correct spots, and you can get more power per CI from a non stroked engine, but as always you still get max power from the big displacement when built properly. i focused on trueing up block imperfections, head and intake airflow "velocity" not volume, fuel flow and then had a cam cut to fit.

  • @MrRusttang Wow, nice work. Love it.

  • @i6live6for6this yes but the stang is about 3200, with a 306 so the pound per cube is 10.45, and the ppc for the stroked impalla is 10.44 if its a 383, but i also see it listed as a 427???? and i will cut a 11 in my car then sell it to you for 4500 with the radio and GPS still in it because bang for buck SBF really cant be touched, shelby dominated the 427 vettes with the 289 cobra, the GT40 had mid engine clevelands, wich are small blocks though most idiots claim they are not...

  • @MrRusttang are you forgetting that the impala weighs close to 4000 pounds

  • @RedRudythe945OH yes the E7TE heads removed the thermactic bump massaged them a little then milled them down to get some extra comp.
