Picture slideshow of one of my favorite places, Luray Caverns, in my beautiful hometown of Luray. This is the fourth largest cavern in the United States. It is 64 acres.

  • Luray people are AWESOME!....and i'm from New York.

  • That's so sweet. I think we're pretty awesome too, authough I'd love to see New York.

  • not to be a butt but my brother worked there and said u r not allowed to take pics in the cave

  • He's either joking with you or they just implemented the new rule. I worked there forever. Like 7 years, and got married in the cave. I have hundreds of pics from in there. But it's been about 6 months since Ive been. They could have changed the rules.

  • i've only been sissy spelunking in this cave. When I worked there I had been to almost all of the places off the beaten path, but nothing dangerous.

  • 4th largest according to who. its not even close.

  • yeah i currently work there and have been there for 5 years and you can definatly take pics. THere is no rules against pics in the cave or anywhere on the grounds, i promise:)

  • awesome but i HATE living in luray but i love the caverns school sucks and evrything about it basically idk i guess if ur from the city and move to luray and have been here 4 about 3-4 years u would go CRAZY and i would love to live in New York instead

  • New York would be a change for you. Their 'I dont care' attitude might scare you but we are awesome too....in our own way.

  • I live in Buffalo(New York). I manipulated my friends to come with me on my road trip to Virginia. All I wanted to see was the 'Skyline drive' since i'm an intense nature enthusiast. They hated it. I did not spot a single grizzly...but I was not disappointed...and you know why?. The people of Luray are amazing in a completely different sense. They made me ridiculously happy. My friends were bitching about how boring the trip is while I was enjoying every single second of my stay.I'm going back.

  • i used to live in luray

  • maybe im wrong
