  • hey thanks for posting this i agree with u on everything this movie was so sad and heartwrenching like you said but it was incredible. i saw it with my mom and grandma and a couple of my cousins and unfortunately i think im the only one who liked the movie. i think it was because they didnt want to believe that a mother could be so horrrible to her child...........and unfortunately the things that happened in the moviestill happen and they do all the time

  • This movie was so very difficult for me to watch. "Raw" is definitely a good word to describe it. I have seen "Precious" once, and I'm not sure I could watch it again. It is so very emotional and real. I have nothing but respect for the actors and actresses who portrayed these characters, and for Saphire, who wrote such an amazing novel. I recommend that EVERY person see this movie, but I do warn, it is quite difficult to watch.
