NO you don't put ur hands behind ur head because then when u get tired u hav a tendency to pull on ur head and strain the neck and upper spine, u cross ur hands across ur chest and keep your neck and back straight, making the muscles in your neck stronger and more capable of holding ur head, like it's supposed to.

Thank you!!!! I didn't know what curl ups were at first (stupid me!) Now I have to do a certain number of curl ups in gym for the national award :P Wish me luck!

dont over teach! try doing the exercise and have 3 cues.....otherwise your clients will be getting restless and anxious to move x
