A fabulous rendition! Perfect belcanto style! I only knew Caballé's interpretation of this aria, but Madame Zeani is even better here! Thank you!

Where in the world can I get copy of the entire completed Maria di Rohan opera (with Zeani) in cd format? It's impossible to find except on ebay but the guy is selling fake copies. I can't even find vinyl versions of this opera.

  • CharlotteinWeimar - yet another stupendous performance by Mme Zeani! Maria di Rohan is one of my favorite Donizetti operas!! And the grand Mme. Zeani is yet again unique! Charlotte - - Please post the gorgeous duet "A morir incominciai" if this in your collection! Such a glorious duet!!

  • What an incredibly glamorous voice. I've never heard her Maria di Rohan, but I love her Traviata and her Aida. This just blew me away. Brava, La Zeani!

  • I have never heard before of this Donizetti's opera nor of this beautiful and moving aria, but Virginia is certainly DIVINE here as usual!

  • awesome!
