Islamabad, Feb 21: Hindu pilgrims from India
who are visiting Pakistan to celebrate shivratri have installed the idols of lord Krishna, Radha and Hanuman at Lahore's Krishna Mandir.
Pundit Vinay Kumar Bhiraghi from India installed the idols during a ceremony on Sunday
A group of Hindu Pilgrims, went to Katasraj, took alongwith them an Icon of "Lord Shiva family". This was founded in to Krishna Temple in Lahore on 8th or 9th of March 2008. This occasion was ceremonised by Hindu Rituals and worshipping with a great enthusiasm and religious spirit. Krishna Temple is perhaps only running temple in Lahore and is only since a few years back had been renovated from the debris. As all the worshiping places of Hindus were burnt to ashes by fanatics during 1947 partition of Great India to India & Pakistan, the running of this temple may be considered as rational and moderate thinking, brotherhood of Indo Pak people. Please witness the moment of peace now.

@kumarsa108 It becoz Hindu population is very small as compared to muslim population in India only minority is 3 % these 3 % includes all minorities but we have few hindu solider in army but mainly are connected with bussiness or government not to the private sector.

@samudar yes their emplyment and representation in the Government is far lower than Muslims in India. Muslim in India are aslo unrepresented according to their numbers but not as much as Hindus in Pakistan, yet even in this country the Dharma endures. Yet lets hope things imprve for all communities.
