yes this was definitely a bad year for kingwood. I really don't know what the problem was. Many other bands lost practice due to Ike, but seemed to pull through fine.

Well considering half the band is on the wrong foot the whole time, that had nothing to do with memorization or lack of practice.

I was a freshman last year. And i can tell you right now, a lot more mistakes were made by upperclassmen who had no concern for anything but getting out. Just because we were young means nothing we outworked a lot of people.

Stars and Stripes??!! Kudos Mustangs! Never heard this played on the field. So sad I missed NAMMB this year.

Is the KW band going through a transition this year? It just seems like they were not as precise as in years past. Wonder if the opening of KW Park High School has had an effect on the band.
