What great videos! Just about finished with my headboard... working on the legs, then the back... then I'm done! It's absolutely beautiful so far! I always wanted an upholstered headboard but they were always out of my price range. A clearance table of upholstery fabric brought this in at under $70 for everything, including lumber. Mike and Marianne rock!
By the way, I tried using an electric stapler and gave up. Used a manual stapler, and although it was tough at times, I worked well.
this was really cool just not my style is really what i should have said in my other coments i apologize if any of my coments come off as rude or crass
Thank you so much for producing and posting this excellent DIY series. I appreciate the thought that went into the details, such as using white thread on dark fabric and using two contrasting colors for the main fabric and larger welting, which makes it easier to see what's happening onscreen. I also appreciate the helpful tips sprinkled throughout. You have provided a real service to those of us who want to take on a project like this. Kudos and thanks!
Thank you so much for posting the remaining episodes of this headboard series. A do it yourself project that seemed completely overwhelming before viewing these excellent videos now seems very manageable.
I can't wait to start this project. I feel confident that with these detailed and very easy to follow instructions it will make it possible for me to produce a luxurious upholstered headboard for our second guestroom.
