Challenge/suggestion: I really like your opinion videos (the intro makes me lol every time), but have you noticed SO MUCH of our conversations are based on negativity? Gossiping, complaining, criticizing .... Therefore, I'd like to see if you can do an opinion video about something you love. Maybe something you like that maybe not many other people like? Then it's still, "Uh-oh--Evan's got an opinion." Again, not at all bashing your videos. Just a healthy challenge. Keep being awesome! :)

@KunoichiN3rd ahhhhh, *squirms* it's kinda like the saying "bad news sells" I've been thinking about doing an opinion video about a band I like or something, but I can't transform the like of that band into humour as easily as angst into anger. On many occasions I haven't watched a video because of pre-roll ads. They're just annoying. But I I hate shameless self promoters even more!

i became a youtube partner like, yesterday, and i put up a status on facebook about it as one might. someone who knows me well enough commented on it like "oh great, now we get to see an ad before we get to watch your videos!" and i was legitimately a little offended that they thought i'd be the kind of person to use pre-rolls. i knew it was clearly a joke but even just... ugh. it made me feel bad ;-;

But I know again that youtube will not limit there pre roll rights because they get part of the money, and they only care about views :p

But I generally think youtube should limit who can use pre roll ads more to quality then quantity of views :p So people like you described in this video (The self promoting girl) Should not even get ad revenue rights and people like you should get all the rights you want :D

You don't have to give up this money just too prove that your not a self centered, money wanting whore :p You subscribers know your not :p And I personally don't like clicking on the side ads, as they take you to websites :p

Hey bro, I respect you opinion and everything, I love all your videos and everything, But I really do want to give you my honest opinion :D TBH,, People like you should be putting pre roll ads on generates you more money then side ads, Just think about it, TV programmes have like 5 minutes of ads between every 15 minutes of show,, So if you made a really good youtube video that lasts for say, 5 minutes, I wouldn't mind watching a small pre roll ad that only lasts for 10 seconds :D

pre-rolls generate SO much more revenue though.  It's not that bad considering you can skip it after like 5 seconds. You should pre-roll this video...that would be hilarious

I see those ALL the time on Vevo crap. Then they have like 40 thumbs up so people can see it but...who would thumbs that up? Not me.
