Seems like every turbo car making any kind of decent power blows massive clouds of smoke out the exhaust. Is it leaking past the impeller seals or what. I think supercharging is a little more street friendly and still makes big power. Pretty stout Pontiac

It smokes because it was an experimental Borge Warner turbo that had seal issues. It made 800+ on only 8.5psi and 1100whp on 13psi, so it was an extremely efficient setup

The car ended up at 13.5psi on straight pump gas and no meth when it put down 811/836....race gas and meth will be coming in the next few months. He did a few test passes and it could only muster up a 10.9 @ 137 on pump and street tires.

Thats still pretty good for some test passes at the track. He can definatly get more out of that car with that trap speed. Was he having traction problems at all, or was he just not launching it hard?

Was not launching that hard. The track was good and the Radials were hooking good with just a little bit of shipping in 1st, but it was not bad at all. The problem is htat you cannot slip a Spec Stage 5 clutch!

I have buddy running a turbo cobra that has the spec stage 5 clutch in it as well, and twice now from a launch without slipping it, it has fused to the flywheel. What a mess. Are we going to see any more action vids of this beast. I really want to see rematch with him and suprastar.

There will be more videos on the car, but it first needs a cage put in it, as he was told to "not come back" to the Gainesville Raceways because he hit 10's and had a highest mph of 140ish!! So once that is done then it will be tuned on Race gas and then it will be back at the track im sure.....the Suprastar race is in the process of happening.....in due time! Just stay posted on my streetfire videos because it will be posted on there first most likely!
