Brighton & Hove Chess Club v Dieppe Chess Club, 30th August 2009, Dieppe.

The 3rd international match between the two clubs was the final event in the 5th Festival of Chess in Dieppe. The result was a draw with 5 points each.

Brighton & Hove first went to Dieppe in 2007 and defeated the French 9½ to 4½. In 2008 the French came to Brighton for the return match but our club won that second match with 8 points to 7. Our team was captained by the club president, Susan Chadwick. This video was made by Duncan Roy.
