I feel that all is related atomically, the only thing that seperates we humans from say a, tree, is conciousness.We and that tree are made of the same carbon atoms that evolved chemically from the beginning of the universe and the original hydrogen atoms. If everything changes, is there really a true meaning to existence? Environments, economies, people, feelings, thoughts, and beliefs change over time. People say we live on this earth to find out who we are, to discover our purpose in life. But if we change, does our purpose change? Is there even a purpose in this life? Everything's purpose is to die, therefore everything's purpose is to live. Therefore maybe we are just here....to be here.

I get what he's saying. Are we really gaining wisdom. Everything changes, so how can the things we know and have gathered from the past be considered wisdom, if there is no relevant use for the knowledge we have garnered in this life time. Is everything is as it seems, maybe you aren't what you seem to be(to yourself you are) but to everyone else, maybe your something completely different. If everything changes....are we really who we think we are?
