Well, now that I have the FEL I will never not have one. I can’t believe all the things I find to do with it. I’ve moved 3 yards of rock and probably 50 yards of dirt. Moved RR ties, dug up 6 trees (6-8 diameter), etc. Power is fine. It is a garden tractor tool, and has limitations. I think the people who are not happy with it are expecting it to perform like a commercial bobcat. I have moved a couple of mountains in little bites! The loader has been money well spent for me.

Yeah, you shut the hydraulic cut-off valve all the way off. It isn't a handle valve, is a dial valve, much like an outside water facet. You just turn the dial a few times until it stops in the off position.

Hi I saw that you have a rear-pto on your x700 series tractor. I've got a question about it. do you think I can use a rear pto from a x700 for my old 318? thanks for answering

Yanmar and Deere have a great relationship and the engine is VERY dependable. If you expect to put hours on your machine and want the most at trade/sale I think you'd be smart getting yourself the X748. AWD is sweet! 7 iron is great too! 45 FEL will do all the task you need for landscape installs without tearing up the turn like a bobcat/bigger machine.  What might take a couple more bucket loads will turn into valuable time save with installing new turf.

@Powerstrokekid1 By now I'd guess you've already made your decission, but I'll weigh in if others have the same question. I personaly feel the X720/724/728 would be a better route to take with the 27 hp EFI. Carbs aren't as nice as fuel injection and when you mow and come across an area that grows faster or climbing hills while under load you will love that EFI. The Kawasaki is a solid engine

That said, the yenmar has been used in JD garden tractors since 1983 in the 430 model.

Roy your a good man, Nice Video.I think JD owes ya one.... I have that setup and it does work great. You must do the 45 attachment on solid ground... Dirt will not work...

So far I have 70 hours on mine and moved dirt, 3/4 delaware river rock ,4 feet of snow and 20 yards of mulch... Also have weights and mower deck w/power assist..

Looking for the snow blower for this season..

Hi Roy, I getting a 2011 x748 and debating on the fel, people has mixed feelings on it so I thought I would ask u about it. How is it is plenty powerful for buckets of dirt and stuff like that. Is it worth the money? Thanks for any info u can give me

Hey Roy, I really like your videos plus you have a great taste in music. I have a quick question. Do you feel like the Diesel is necessary? I am 14 years old and I am going to buy a 700 series for my business but I dont know if I should spend the extra money on a Diesel model. Even though I love Diesel. Thanks keep up the good vids!
