The 2009 Kymco Mongoose 300 has strong usable low end power, a well tuned CVT transmission and stable handling make it a fun to ride beginner machine. While not quite perfect it is as viable an option as any machine in the small displacement fully automatic sport quad ranks. Watch the test and see if it is the right machine for you.

  • you should make a vidoe of a 250ex

  • @hondarider5781 Then please visit our site, join up and post your vehicle test request in our open forum under the 2011 test thread. We will try to test one if people show some interest.

  • you should make one of a honda 300ex

  • We would love to. Unfortunately, Honda doesn't see anyi value in what we are doing unlike all of the other manufacturers on the market. The 300 is a good machine.

  • Hey ATVonDemand guys,

I would love to see a comparison review of this quad versus the Arctic Cat 300 DVX.

I have been in the market for an easy going ATV and have been looking at this quad, the 300dvx or the Wolverine 350 from Yamaha.

I am concerned with the cornering of the Wolverine 350 with all its added weight, so I have been more narrowed down to the Mongoose 300 or the 300 DVX.

Any information you folks could do in a comparison review would be outstanding!

    Thanks again guys!

  • Kymco manufacturers the DVX300 for Arctic Cat. The DVX and Mongoose are nearly identical mechanically, although Arctic Cat says the suspension is calibrated a bit differently. We have ridden both machines separately but would have to say their performance is very close. The Kymdo has the advantage of separate front and rear brakes and of course which one looks better is up to you.

  • very good review, i am glad its not just a brief overview but a comprehensive test. thank you

  • you would think this is a great machine.....i bought it in December and in 5 or 6 months i have no back break and its leaking oil, brake fluid, and coolant

  • you should make it manual transmission you'd get ALOT more buisness as most people would never drive an automatic sports quad unless its a kfx700

  • ya i have one their awesome
