Emilio Santoyo is a Los Angeles-based freelance illustrator. His work combines a studied, technical hand with an innocent eye and heart, giving him a rare and unique voice that stands apart from trends that celebrate darkness and cynicism. While Mr. Santoyo has developed a style that allows him to come close to the cold perfection of digitized art, he revels in the flaws caused by the human hand and all of the life that these imperfections bring.
