Sorry to write too much. I just remember in "Transformers" when the guy says something like "look at this cellphone, it's amazing what Japanese can create"; I saw that film in Helsinki, Finland, and you should have seen the faces of Finns at the theater: that line almost ruined them the film, because they are very proud of Nokia. Thank God the girl on the film says "Nokia is from Finland" and the whole croud goes "Yeah!!!". You see? There ARE limits for imaginary stories.

And again, everything is possible in fantasy films, but even in the realm of fantasy you have to follow a certain logic. You can't say that Cuzco and Nazca are at the same geographical spot or Mexicans could speak quechua, because it' just untenable. If you don't know these facts beforehand maybe they wouldn't spoil you the movie, I admit that; but if you know them, could you really put them aside and believe what it's said in the film?

Christerjames, please don't try to defend the indefensible. It's just impossible for de Pancho Villa guys to speak quechua, beacuse in Mexico they have their own native language. The Mayas never reached the Amazon. Never. Mexican band on tour in Peru? In the 50-60's?! You can't be serious... If you are going to discuss with me about the gross mistakes on this movie, with all due respect you better inform yourself well first. If you like this movie, that's fine. But it DOES have mistakes.

dcb01ene2000,by the way Indiana never said that Pancho Villa spoke quechua, it was "some of his guys" and all the other stuff you mentioned can be just coincidence, like mayans can have traveled to the amazon, a lost tribe? mexican band in peru on tour or just backpacking, peruan band trying some new stuff, don't think about this stuff too much you just ruin the movie for yourself.

Dear christerjames: you call me "a lonely person" without knowing me at all. That is, for saying the least, a very risky comment, although generally it's just a sad mistake to qualify a person without knowing them. But anyway, this is not about me or you, but about the film. If you liked it, that's fine... But calling that film an instant classic and pretending that's the indisputable truth and nobody can question that... well, there you are totally wrong, and that's just a plain fact. Sorry.
