Pistachio Rube Goldberg

A complicated Rube Goldberg Machine created to open a pistachio.

Created for the Wonderful Pistachios Get Crackin' contest. Please leave feedback and positive comments.

About the machine:
- It took a week to devise and about 12 hours to setup the machine.
- We ran the machine a few times, but every time it would get stuck on one or two things.
- We have one good take (which will be in the "Making Of" that I will post soon), but the camera didn't make it to the slingshot in time.
- After a stressful four or five hours of attempts, we decided to film each portion of the contraption separately and put it together in editing.
- There are four bags of Wonderful Pistachios within the machine: At the beginning pouring into a frying pan, on the microwave acting as a weight for the rolling pin to fall, at the end of the cereal boxes acting as a weight for the hammer and slingshot, and at the very end of the commercial dumping into the glass bowl.
