2012 ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge: Which Shelters Made the Cut?

The polls closed on April 16 in the $100K Challenge qualifying heat, and the top 50 vote-earning shelters have been determined. Which fabulous organizations in your neck of the woods will be competing for the big prizes?

The $100K Challenge is a national competition to inspire animal shelters—and those who support them—to go above and beyond to increase pet adoption, reunite lost pets with their families and save more animals' lives.

I thought that it was shared also, but we found out that our Humane Society doesn't get anything from the ASPCA. And that it's ran just on donations, voting challenges that different animal related organizations have. They do challenges and other stuff to help shelters all over the states...this is just a special event/challenge that they are doing to give that money to a shelter to help them with funding different things that they might not otherwise have the money to do so. I hope this helps
