@19EHF you're right about Henry and his wives. The most physically "beautiful" were plain by Hollyood's standards.. there were no plastic surgeons in those days, much less any men of medicine who could cure that weeping, smelly wound on Henry VIII's leg. Maybe that's why he couldn't get such an intelligent wife to put up with him. He was a tyrant and a despot.

how come these fools are praising the king for the battle of bolougne.Thousands of his men died because of dysentry and the king had no care for his men,his soldiers had no good food to eat but he was eating good food,wine etc and still the englishmen remained loyal to him

@19EHF Sorry Henry was good looking in his younger years. and the women were considered beautiful by his standards, except Anne of Cleves. Actually I think she was the prettiest one of them all.

@peymaania Okay 1. refering to women as bitches is uncivilized. Clearly you had no mother to teach you manners. And 2. Ive seen the actual portraits of his wives, obviously they were not attractive, neither was Henry himself, but the actresses who play them are stunningly beautiful
