    Basically, love is committing to someone, 'for better or for worse.' As chemicals in your brain, emotions come and go. Love is something stronger. It's an active commitment to put another person before yourself, even when you might not feel like it. Love, in essence, is sacrifice. At least, that's the way I see it. Does that make sense?
