Liberal vs. Conservative

I recently had a conversation with a regular listener of my weekly show who described himself as a liberal at the beginning of the discussion. As we discussed the issues, it became apparent that our views were actually quite similar. By the end of the conversation, the listener was amazed to discover that he was, in fact, a conservative. I decided to make this video as a kind of litmus test for others who might be confused about which side of the fence they may actually be on. So which side of the political spectrum are you on? Do you believe that human beings are capable of making their own decisions? Or do you think the government should make all of our decisions for us? I like to think that the American people are more than capable of making their own decisions. Thank you for watching a special report from the Don Smith Show. That can go Both ways! If a liberal does not like abortion they will not get one, If a conservative does not like abortion they want repeal to Roe v Wade, If a liberal does not like gay marriage they will not marry someone of the same gender, If a conservative does not like gay marriage they want a constitutional ammendment banning it, If a liberal does not like pot, they will not smoke it, If conservative does not like pot, eveyone who smokes has to go to jail.

@Loltochapel That's because we're so radical that we believe that ALL life is precious. We're so radical that we think marriage is actually a sacred union. We're also so radical that we think laws on drug use should be enforced. What a great world it would be if we all just walked around smoking dope and taking zero responsibility for our own actions. Sounds like a real utopia.

@donsmithshow I'm glad to know theres more out there than me, I go to a pittsburgh public high school and it seems like all they try to do is indoctrinate you no matter what class your in. We had to watch doctored videos on how bill O'reilly lies, and videos showing how cuba has a good and proud system of government, and they even had a play on how wrong we were for dropping the atomic bombs on japan. and then the kids call you a racist for bringing up the mexican drug war. It's rediculious.

@donsmithshow they didnt answer, but someone else said they were liberal, but they seem liberal, they were talking out of their ass about gun dealers and they hate fox with a passion of 100 burning suns so i guess they must be liberal
