Very basic T-53 machines here, but they should have more than just 1 can machine, 1 plastic, and 1 glass, since these probably get crowded often.

  • Technically, you can be fined $100 per can/bottle in which a deposit was not paid for in NJ or up to $25,000 for up to 240 cans/ bottles...yet it is NOT enforced.

  • @Pookatube well despite what people say i no longer live in new jersey and ALL containers in this video were purchased in new york state except the shoprite can.

  • Either very heavily used Waldbaums/A&P stores or ones that got T-63s in early 2009 will have 5/6 machines. Also, if there is an Instadeem, the receipts must feature the unique, fraud deterrent "AccuDeem" barcode system. We have yet to find a Waldbaums with Instadeem. I know that Nostrand Avenue got an Instadeem before it closed, but the machines seem to have come from a PRE A&P BUYOUT deal between Pathmark Stores Inc. and Tomra Metro.

  • @alexweb8 yeah i know what an accudeem is, just forgot to check for it. obviously no instadeem here

  • my waldbaums only has one of each.

  • @Ih8escalators o ok

  • @Pookatube some people think i still live in NJ and am bringing these bottles in unlawfully. normally these machines wont take any NJ bottles, but you're right about how towns near the NYS line have poland spring without the red stripe etc. but where i lived all of them had the red stripe. a certain user reported me to the police back when i lived in NJ because he was accusing me of bringing bottles in from NJ

  • Are instadeems used to detect 5 cent deposit cand and bottle intended for sale in deposit states like New York sold on New Jersey? Because some stores in NJ that are in around the NYS border sell the deposit cans snd bottles. I think some bottle water such as Poland Spring have a red stripe around the UPC code rhat says NOT FOR SALE IN BOTRLE DEPOSIT STATES. I think some of the soda companies such as coke and pepsi will start to follow or will have NO DEPOSIT stil printed on the bottle.
