If you eat less than 1200 cals a day, your body goes into starvation mode. Meaning that, even if you're only eating 500 calories a day, your body panics and stores EVERY BIT of fat from the food you're eating.

Which, long story short, means you'll actually GAIN weight.

I ate 800 calories a day for about a month and ended up gaining 6 pounds. For the love of god, DON'T EAT UNDER 1200 cals a day, thats how you gain weight!

I switched to a healthy 1200cals a day for 2 months and lost 17 pounds!

I LOVE IT! It's easy to use (of course once you get the hang of it so give it time) and it even helps keep track of how much water you're drinking so you'll know if you're not drinking enough (or even drinking too much) water! =)

i think it's because you're eating too little calories. Your body is probably in a starvation mode and stores any calories it gets as fat, but i don't know. Try eating some more for a couple of days and see if it makes a change

Apparently if you eat too little calories then your body will hit a "starvation" mode, so any calories you consume will be stored as fat, that's probably why..

so I've been eating about 800-1200 cal a day for about a month, plus these pop pilates videos 5 times a week for an hour, and I've yet to lose any weight whatsoever. I don't know whats wrong. my friends think it's because My body is already at the right weight (im 130 lbs, 5'4) but I don't believe them, I have to be able to still lose weight right? I mean it's impossible for your body to just stop losing weight right?
