Thank you so much! I was almost to tears 'coz I used to do my line-art with this tool and some weeks ago I got the CS3 -I'd used CS =)- but when I tried... I couldn't! ...now I see what I was doing wrong ;)!

Are you painting with gray instead of black or white? That will give you semi-transparency.
