  • 30FPS for this game simply doesn't work - because the game alternates which player's shots are shown each frame, you can only see player 1's shots for the entire run! (or maybe it switches at some point due to lag, but that still applies.) Some sort of frame blending would need to be used if you want to upload a 2-player run of this game to Youtube without having that bad side-effect.

A shame, too, since player 2 is the one who writes all the messages with flame-chaser.

  • @AzureDreams777 My goal at TAS is to get a lot of work done fast. The consequence of this is that sometimes, there will be flaws as I assume most games run in 30 FPS (In truth, they must, as of my nearly 300 videos I have rarely had to do a re-encode). Still, I make mistakes for this reason, and I appreciate you pointing this out. I'll make sure to bring this up with some other encoders sometime.

  • @BrandMan211 Your encodes are really good, and usually 30FPS doesn't matter (except making Samus invisible on elevators and other minor things like that), but I thought it was worth pointing out in this case.

  • @AzureDreams777 You were absolutely right to point this out, and it'd be helpful if you continued to do so whenever I should have used something other than 30 FPS. It's just a fairly inopportune time to encode. Oh well, I'll make sure that if I don't do it, someone else will. Thanks again.

  • I'm really impressed that this game came out in 1993.

    Nice TAS btw :)

  • @marioxwarrior its a brilliant game, but it was poorly promoted so no one's ever heard of it, ironically

  • The entertainment value of this video is a 10. It's only the second level and they're already playing pong with their power-ups.

  • Wow, this game looks cool; why have I never heard of it, lol
