The celebratory Fourth Movement of the symphony was written about the grandeur of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, of which fifty five rise above 14,000 feet altitude, and 638 rise above 13,000 feet altitude. This presentation visits the summits of twenty fourteeners, and two spectacular thirteeners, to music that describes the feel and exhiliration of reaching any significant summit.
