I didn't record the video, just found in other place and uploaded here. So, thanks to the person who recorded the musical =D

It's the Original Broadway Cast (Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda, Idina Menzel as Elphaba) in the Kristin's last performance.

Thank to the people who helped me with the subtitles! Especially, giggidy90 for rewrite Kristin's improvisation ^^

THANKS YOU! And enjoy!!

  • 3:40 It seems like there might be something in that mirror, because the audience laughed...

Does anybody know? Please help me out, thanks. ^_^

  • @MeAndMyLittleVoices I think audience laughed because she was singing and then stopped for a moment to look at herself in the mirror :P

  • Was Wicked based on a book? I'd LOVE to read the book verion of wicked!

  • @Trekkie4ever100 Yes! The title is "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West" by Gregory Maguire. Actually, there are two sequel "Son of a Witch" and "A Lion Among Men".

  • Better bad filming than no filming, I have to say ;) And since I don't have the opportunity of seeing the show, thank you for filming, whoever it was, and thank you for posting, MsEleLovett! I assume you are a fan of Sweeney Todd too? ;)

Does Kristen pull out her own book? "A little bit wicked"?

    That's hillarious!

    These two totally rule!

  • @suphiah23 OMG how do you know I love Sweeney Todd O_O??

Kristin have her own book? I don't know! But I like the title

  • I love this. Improvisations, The little leg thing by the bed and the book was just added in by her when you look back to older performances. She knew to pull out all the stops on her last performance, there was no way Idina was ever going to keep a straight face :)

  • What does Kristen say at 1:34ish, when everyone starts laughing? ^_^

  • @Trekkie4ever100 the book though is extremely different then the musical, if you haven't read the book yet. the book is a lot darker and more serious.

  • @kayandkaycorp13 I've actually read the book in the time since I last posted. I'm sorry to say I didn't like it. Maybe it's because I saw the musical first, but I didn't like the way they portayed Elphaba. It was like, her role with the wizard and the animals and everything wasn't as important. The book made her seem so much colder, and I didn't get the same feeling of love between her and Feiro that the musical has. I just feel that the musical's storyline is much more engaging

  • 3:40 Was there something in that mirror ahead of time? :/ Does anyone know what it is?

  • @Trekkie4ever100 The book is actually much MUCH different than the musical. But it's just as good, if not better.

  • u no u couldve actually kept the camera still and focused

  • @moviesrocks2 Absolutely yeah.

  • @RuckalltheFules Thanks, for that info. I don't know anything about the theatre, but it all seems natural, ie. Idina cracking up at almost everything. Its natural to laugh. I didn't find the illusion broken. It was funny & so naturally you have a tendancy to laugh. That's what makes this more special. It was all natural. Kristin is just good at keeping a straight face. a lot of actors are able to keep composure while the rest totally lose it. In my mind, still great part of the play.
