Vltor Buffer Tube & Magpul CTR Stock (install)

Well I finally had time to record the install of my new parts on my AK-47. I hope you guys understand how hard it was to have these parts for days and not be able to install them because I couldn't record it. Today the house was finally empty enough to record the install so here it is. Thanks for watching.

Why brand of AK is this? I'm interested in purchasing one but I don't know what company to buy from. I've heard all sorts of stories about some of them are just terrible and a waste of money.

@foREVerA7X2012 You are looking at my Arsenal SGL-21. It's hard to get input on different guns because it all depends on who you ask. I love my Arsenal, I would definitely get another one.

Hey bud. How is the CTR working out for you? I'm concerned about its durability. My SGL 21 is @ Rifle Dynamics. I keep on going back and forth between OEM stock, AK-100 folder, and CTR. What length OEM stock did you have? Warsaw, NATO, or Mid length?

@paraguitarmedic I can't really tell you. I decided to go with the traditional look half way into my tactical build. I originally had the Warsaw length stock and that was just too small.  I went with IronWoodDesigns for my wood stock set. They have some great options for styles of stocks and wood types. Sorry I couldn't help more. You should talk to DaytonaRoadster, he's been rocking a CTR stock for some time now. He can help you a lot more than I can. Good luck.

did everthing come as a kit ? or did you have to buy the stock then the buffer tube ?

Nice vid just put this on my SGL and used a couples drops CLP at the end and by the bolts. It came off with very little effort it may work for others or I was lucky. My rifle has the RS AKM 30mm mount with M2 Aim Point. With that I did not need a cheek riser. Set up rock solid no play on this stock. It may have added a couple ounces but the rifle feels more balanced and lighter even though it's not. Thank again for the vid
