The Global Corporations Forum is a Drupal-powered website that enables community organizations and social movements engaged in shared struggles to connect with each other across barriers of language and geographical distance. Groups including the Asia Monitor Resource Center in Hong Kong and DeJusticia in Latin America are using the site for citizen journalism to share information about what global corporations are doing, what strategies groups are using to hold companies accountable, why local campaigns in other places have succeeded or failed. It is a bilingual website available in both English and Chinese.
Global Corp Forum is designed to bring together the experiences of activist organizations and movements from around the world to build a global "virtual community" that can make global corporations accountable and protect the dignity, livelihoods and neighborhoods of people who live with the consequences of corporate irresponsibility.
