I don't know why people think it's a fake. It may be i donno BUT reacting like that is normal if you are about to die. If she seriously loves her husband she won't scream into the phone: I'm about to die help me or whatever. Also How she behaves is normal for someone in shock. Your mind blocks the information that you are about to die. You don't believe it until a few seconds before. To me she appears kinda paralyzed by the shock.

this is so fake! she sounds way to calm for someone on a plane about to be crashed seriously wouldn't you be screaing or crying if you were about to die?

its not fake and she DOES start to cry at the end.

not to mention no two people are exact clones (except maybe twins). people have different quirks, personalities, looks, et cetera. what might be a weird reaction to you might be a reaction someone else does normally.

in other words, just because YOU would react that way doesnt mean everyone else would do the same.

again, you neglect the fact that the situation she was in throws everything natural out the window. do you really see her having an easy time responding naturally in a non-natural situation?

also, there were passengers there with her. if anything interrupted her, it was a passenger nearby. again, nothing suspicious.

"...calls?" the terrorists knew they were going to die no matter what happens, so they didnt care about phone calls and all. they simply let them use a phone.

Stressful situations, like being alcohol lower inhibitions. You pay less attention to social norms and propriety and are -more- natural. Listen to :21... she may be mildly annoyed, but there's no honest emotion... no fear, no stress. This is not the voice of a woman telling her husband she's about to die.

... and yea... 3 guys with box cutters hijacked an airplane... and just let everyone use their phones. Then those people calmly had a vote and decided to be heroes... you're very gullable

how was she stressed? she was scared, not stressed.

she's trained to be calm in these type of situations. it isnt surprising that she had points of calm during the call.

it was 4, not 3, hijackers that were there. with the quickness of the hijacking attempt taking shape, she may have only noticed three and assumed that three is the true amount of hijackers.

and if calling me gullable for no reason is your way of countering my points, it isnt the best way.

It wasn't a personal attack. Just that "if people think terrorists freely allow victims to use cell phones whenever they feel like" those people are living in a fantasy. She didn't sound rushed like she even had to try to hide it, yet each person only made one call?

Also, if she was trained to keep that calm, don't you think she would have wanted to attempt to contact some sort of authorities to try to pass on useful information?

i didnt say it was a personal attack.

"yet each person only made one call?" who said that? some passengers made multiple phone calls, and others stayed on the line until they went to help in the attempt to take back the plane.

"don't you think she would have wanted to attempt to contact some sort of authorities to try to pass on useful information?" like who?

The only ones I've heard reported about have been quite short ones. I haven't heard of any reported to have made multiple calls or calling anyone but family members. Did any of them call 911?

... not like "the police" could really help the situation, but, it's something someone freaking out would do.

one passenger told someone to call police, and they did. what happened afterwards, i dont know.
