The saint who has been appointed to be our companion in the dance , has given us the pleasurable sense of harmony and rhythm, and so he stirs us to life and we follow him , joining together in dance and song.

Joy , sorrow ,tears , lamentation, laughter , to all these Rafi sahib gave voice , but in such a way that we are transported from the world of unrest to a world of peace, and see reality in a new way,as if we were sitting by a mountain lake and contemplating hills and woods and clouds in a tranquil and fathomless water.

Rafi Sahib may have gone physically, but his ever lasting voice is still with us and we need to rejoice, celebrate and thank the almighty most gracious most merciful who blessed us with this fantastic man, yes I do say Fantastic Man, as nobody has a bad word to say about him, his career spanning 40 years. He was blessed with such a beautiful voice. All I can say is Thank you O; Lord for letting us hear your magic you gave this wonderful Man.

Rafi was indian and he sang many patriotic songs for India. Thank Allah that he stayed in India that he could sing Madan Mohan, Salil Chowdry, Ravi, Usha Khanna, Sonik Omi, LP, KP,SD Burman and RD Burmans song. If he would have gone to Pakistan he would have been wasted
