  • The shirts the band are wearing were designed by their producer Mickie Most.

  • Small Faces Steve Marriott gave this record a good review in the New Musical Express.

  • 1974!

  • Nice power pop vid but what's up with the orange lighting? LOL!

The chorus is weaker than the rest of the song. I've learned, here on Youtube, that the Arrows had the usual manager/band/record company wrangle... presumably these two factors stopped it from being a major hit, but I'm just guessing.

  • alan is very best part of them!!! <3

  • Their debut record "touch too much" was top 10, but this their 2nd single got no promotion or even a bbc "top of the pops" telly appearance, which is normal for a band who had a hit single first time out. Arrows got screwed by their label!

  • The record should have been a hit, but wasn't promoted, that's true, but also as you say, the chorus doesn't flow as well as the rest of the song, I agree. The song has a nice groove and then hits the chorus like a car hitting speed bumps, all choppy with stops. I have a bootleg cassette recorded in 1975, and live, the band Arrows played straight through the chorus, no stops. It worked a lot better.

  • c'est formidable!

  • This is still a great song. I still Love it.

Just found that another glam rock band, Iron Virgin has his 70's Glam Rock platform boots up for auction on ebay.
