@hez1919 I did answer the question. I said if people voted and were informed they would be able to preside over politicians, and once a politician lied about his or her platform he would not be voted in. I believe that the main problem with democracy is that the voter is not informed or is not a voter. because of this the politicians think were dumb and pump our air wave with attack ad's. solution to problem, read all platforms, and know history, did he claim we were not going into a recession?

@magicmoose2 I think looking back now now a few months later, the message did get out. there was one party that in my memory did not campaign on negative ads, and did work on accountability as their platform without using fear as their drive. they had the biggest surge in the polls in their history, and now sit as official opposition. Change comes slow, it's our job to make sure that it comes from the direction we choose.

Whether you like or hate Harper, if you follow politics you can't deny that he's a liar. I have to agree with magicmoose2. Voters in this country are so uninformed AND misinformed. They base their opinions on sounds bites. If you were really conservative in your views, you would never actually vote for the Conservative party. Some of the things in their platform are outrageous.

@TechPros101 The F-35s are a waste of money. I believe we should buy instead the Super-Hornets, which is as good if not better than the F-35s and would save some money on transitions and the jets themselves. By the way the Liberals planned to purchase the F-35s first.
