The problem with DayZ (Gameplay/Commentary)

DayZ was requested so I thought I'd explain a few issues with the game, the alternatives and an ultimatum.

@Grimzentide It was mentioned at the EG expo, the number of players that have installed and played the mod atleast once is 1.3m, but only ~80k of them have played in the last day. Obviously it doesn't show cause and effect, it doesn't cater to extraneous variables such as people being on holiday, working etc but as a general overview it works nicely! We play dayz to find ourselves or better our gaming experience nobody wants to play with cheaters. Still play what makes u happy for me I have multiple caractors across numerous private hives it works for me and yes those people who play there r better company in the whole. Good luck.

I'm waiting on the standalone too. I'm hoping Rocket really found a way to force cooperation with disease and an overal more stable game.

If it's amazingly hard to survive alone in Dayz, imagine the teamplay possibilities, rescue operations, cries for help and ragequits for years to come.

The in game currency is what really has me questioning my purchase of WarZ... Will wait till I have more information on it before making my decision.

I don't think you can compare the total number of player accounts and the number of people in the past 24 hours.

I was a huge DayZ fan but I have now abandoned ship. I am still thinking about the WarZ beta and if I should or should not buy it.

I believe I will buy the DayZ standalone when it comes out in hopes of re-creating that feeling I had when I first started playing the mod. That was a long time ago and just like crack addicts, I am not sure if I can ever get that first buzz feeling again.

i dont think you got the right thing about WarZ, i infact researched it and bought it's not fast paced, its more teamwork then dayz.

I think if you buy the WarZ and enjoy it, Great! But you should do a first impressions on the WarZ and after awhile announce whether you are going to play anymore zombie survival games.
