Windmills Of Your Mind" was composed with music by Michel Legrand and lyrics by Alan & Marilyn Bergman for the 1968 film "Thomas Crown Affair" starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. Michel adapted Mozart's " Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola and Orchestra" for the opening melodic sequence. Noel Harrison recorded the song for the film which won the Academy Award for Best Song.

This wonderful songs name is "The Windmills of Your Mind" (Les moulins de mon cœur) and it was composed by a French-Armenian guy called Michel Legrand - also known for another great song, "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" (Les Parapluies de Cherbourg). The best known version of this song is a recording in 1968, by The British singer Noel Harrison. I hope that was of some help.
