Not many people know the pilot episode for Miami Vice was filmed at the Westlake Apartments in Daly City, California, in the mid-80's.

I lived at Westlake Apartments. I remember the awful diner in this strip mall. I worked at Bed n' Bath (now known as Bed, Bath & Beyond.).

My friend, Bren, worked at Kids' Mart.

This brought back memories. I think Aaron Farmer went to H.S. at Westmoor.

I find it to be an excellent attempt at movie making from an inexperienced perspective ...which I still have a flair for today...That's me there, the big one.....The last film project I was involved with was The International...There's a clip on my channel...come see
