2008 Acura TL Type S Test Drive 0-50

Awesome car! The j35 has a much different exhaust/intake growl then the others. Once the intake opens up at about 3500 rpm, the engine note gets Growly, but quiet I'm a small displacement v8 Growly quiet. Lol. I don't know if you can really hear that in the video or not, but hopefully you can. :) anyways, the trans Is definitely sport tuned, it's geared pretty low in the first 3 gears (for a Honda 5at)... 39mph at redline in first. When accelerating normally it revs up to about 3k quickly and shifts really briskly and smoothly. I love it :D

@Golden9512 It was not cold bud... When its cold, the gauge is under the "C" In the video, it was well above. :D Plus, the car wont rev past 5000 rpm if its cold...

Very nice VTEC sound! How many miles does your Type S have? Any major issues since you have owned it? My gf is thinking about getting an 07' Type S with 83k miles.

@davidsdiego Heybro! It has about 35K on it. Its such a nice car, 83K isnt bad... Just make sure it drives good :D

Anyways, what else is she looking at? And how much is the 83K going to cost her?

@wongmylesa I have not had any problems with it... Just make sure that your Handsfree link is unlocked before you leave the dealer... So that they can get in contact with the previous owners to get the pass code for it.
