  • seems drunk...

  • he makes a lot of common sense, though.

  • he's just a good guy with a good heart. no "spiritual agnostic", whatever that is, can be all that bad

  • @justagog

Thats not what agnostic means. The term is rather subjective, but it could be summed up as uncertainty with respect to the supernatural. Or rather, a claim that metaphysical effects are unprovable.

It says nothing at all about one's belief system, only about one's certainty of it's truth.

This is a subtle difference from your definition, but it becomes rather stark when you try to attempt to name a faith who's beliefs have remained constant through time.

  • I always liked Lewis' standup stuff years ago.

This thing he does with Olberman is a little...well, I dont know if it works so well.

Her, though, from around the 3 minute point on, I really like Lewis' spiel. It seems heartfelt, it's definitely off-the-cuff, and makes some really good points.

  • LOL. Lewis is the quintessential rambling moron. Puff Daddy's vblogs are more coherent.

  • Go Richard! It seems like it ought to be easy to see, but it doesn't seem to be. Life is hard, and then we die.

  • What he said.

  • agnostic means no fixed belief so by the you could take a bit of islam a bit of catholic a bit of jewish a bit of paganism a bit of buddism a bit of atheism a bit of hindu and beleive only the bits you find reasonable or sensible to you.. no fixed beleif means open minded ... open to suggestion.. willing to consider options.. and debate.. you could be a believer in the egyptian gods if part of that made sense to you.

  • Can you be both Jewish and agnostic? [he claimed to be both] Just wondering ... :/
