@MrClassyTiger Depending on your price range, there are a lot of great companies out there. Check out head-fi's forums. They are a treasure trove of information. I know a fair bit about headphones but the people there are really enthusiastic and as a student I don't want to get sucked into such a pricey hobby. If I may recommend though, check out JVC's low end stuff. Some of their stuff is phenomenal...especially HA-RX700/ HA-RX900. Of course the looks of JVC stuff is FUGLY unlike Skull Candy.

i love my skullcndy and since they came out, i've never used a different branded. the only time i had to get a new pair was because my dog or cats got to them and i damaged them. they havent blown out on me yet. and the sound quality is amazing.

@DawnOfEos Thanks for the info! I've always been drawn in by the SC look....but I'm an audiophile...Sennheisers or anything by Plantronics/Altec Lansig or comparable.

@Peruviandude96 you mean angry or happy? They are pretty and fashionable and all but their audio quality isn't that great - It isn't terrible, it is adequate and for most people that is enough. They aren't as terrible or overpriced as Bose or Monster's Beats, but they aren't in the same bracket as high end Sennheisers if you know what I mean.
