  • No, she said Hail full of grace the lord is with you

  • Praying to mary is not idolatry ha do u even know what idolatry means?

  • The bible says the dead do know things! Have u read about the souls under the alter in revelation?

  • praying to Mary in her name is idolatry. Mary does not intercede between us and Jesus. i dont need to go to her for intercession. the bible says not to pray to those who have passed on. the bible doesnt say to pray to Mary. the living can pray for the living in Jesus' name, we dont need to ask Mary to take our prayers to Him. Jesus said to come unto Him and He will in no wise turn us away.

One of the best explanations I have heard is that....just as we ask our (living) friends to pray for us, so too we ask the souls of the faithful departed to pray for us....

and also: Catholics believe that Mary was born in a special state of grace (ie. free from Original Sin) since she is the Theotokos (the God-bearer)....this is known as the doctrine of the Immaculate conception :)

  • @marco3847 "Hail Mary, full of grace. Our Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. HOLY Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen." The bible does not teach that Mary was sinless. Mary was born into sin. God only found grace in Mary. Catholics are in fact praying to woman who is in the grave. The bible teaches that the dead know nothing. Why do Catholics ask a woman who is dead to pray for sinners?

  • God bless you for your rosary instruction videos. I am a Catholic convert and I learned to pray the rosary soon after I made a decision to become a Catholic. May God bless you for attempting to bring others to this wonderful prayer to Jesus through Our Lady. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. +JMJ+
