The Margaret Jenkins Dance Company celebrates its 39th season with the world premiere of Light Moves, created by Margaret Jenkins in collaboration with her dancers, internationally acclaimed painter and multi-media artist Naomie Kremer, composer Paul Dresher, poet Michael Palmer, and lighting designer Jack Carpenter. Performances are at 8 p.m. nightly November 3-5 at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Novellus Theater in San Francisco. For tickets and information, go to www.ybca.org.

Light Moves traces the natural cycles of light, incorporating video imagery from paintings Kremer digitally deconstructs and animates in a dance of hundreds of individual elements of color, brush stroke, and texture.
