I don't mean the shoe TREE,I mean an ind
ividual pair slung over a power line in a residentail area

Obviously at some point the hydro guys have to come with their cherry picker and remove the shoes, or the line is going to break with the weight of them. We'll drive by one time and there are six pairs hanging on the wires. Next time, no shoes. Next time, three pairs....

In the UK it definitely is the sign of drug dealer but I didn't know in Canada as it's the first time I've seen it here since I arrived two years ago.

@Pubgoer I've never heard of it being an indication of a drug dealer; if you watch the video, you'll see there are hundreds of shoes on trees, hanging from wires ... this is outside a small town, and I just can't see the entire town being drug dealers, lol !!

It is my understanding that a pair of shoes draped over a hydro line in a residential area indicates a drug dealer location ....Anyone else heard that ?
