In the wake of Scott Brown's win in Massachusetts, Gil Smart advises the Democrats that the country is getting tired of the party's weakness and whining: Either fight hard for what you believe in or sit down and cede the floor to someone who will.

  • ecwaufisxtreme is a complete moron. Sarah Palin will never be elected to another political office. She's stupid, shallow, and a quitter.

Christian conservatives are neither Christian nor conservative. And you're collectively too dumb, narrow-minded, and inflexible to ever be effective, much less "save the day."

  • I voted for Hillary in the primaries, because the number 1 thing you want to see in a Democratic president is the ability to deflect Rebublican attacks, and she was an old pro. They called her a polarizing figure, but the Republicans are always going to make sure that any Democrat who wins is going to be made into a polarizing figure. Count on it.

  • lol @ the Twisted Sister reference. love your videos man.

  • what's funny is that people in the US actually believe that the Dems are "leftists"...they even go as far as to say that Obama's a socialist (or for those real crazies, a communist.oh dear). In Canada, our Conservatives, who are very socially and economically right, are FAR more left than the Dems are! So if the Dems are commies...then...what is OUR government?!

and wow. that bush comment at the end is hilarious.

  • this guys way off about republicans. republicans arnt stopping healthcare reform cause u idiots are democrats, its because ur idiots. u have the right idea with changing the healthcare system u dont cram it down the throats of americans when they don't believe in it. u have to get a new plan that more than 30% of americans acually support

  • Yeeah

  • America doesn't want to be stepped on by the democrats and we will prove it at the polls. Politicians should not receive a retirement just for serving one term it should be three terms. If they are worth it then they must earn their keep like the rest of us do, their is to much tax payers money given out to the do nothings in congress, we need real change and less spending from an out of control congress.

  • Do You really think democrats wanted to please republicans by being bipartisan? They were anything but.

The reason the healthcare failed is because moderate democrats (specially in red states) rejected the public options. Not because they wanted to be bipartisan, but to save their own ass since the people rejected it in every poll. I hope the dems to listen to you and Dean, it would make a great year for republicans. Keep making fun of "teabaggers", clown.

  • I agree with everything he said, except --reconciliation. I believe passing the "senate bill with a sidecar" option is the best course at this point in time. Once health care is a program, it becomes alot easier to play around with it via reconciliation. You can't create entitlements with reconciliation. And if one actually looks at what could be passed via reconciliation, one would see a recon only bill would be half as strong as a senate bill with a sidecar.

  • America needs a new party. A somewhat democratic party but with the balls of the republican party.
