Staging Notes:

Though the show title doesn't reflect is, the individual tune names correspond directly to terms i use while teaching body movement and marching basics. We then decided to use those teaching concepts as the actual show concept.

The 5 off-white Panels will have silhouettes of particular poses/positions I teach as a part of the movement/marching basics. Though there are 5 panels, only 3 will be used for this. These 3 silhouettes represent the 3 tunes and the corresponding body positions/poses.

So, just so you know, I absolutely loved the original drill you wrote for our band. It made the show as a whole a little better for me, as I don't really like it much. So I don't understand why we made all the changes since it was perfect the way it was, but then again I guess our band just isn't up to performing as a whole to the requirements of your fantasic drills. I wish I knew how to make them care enough to PERFORM...!

Hey Band Nerd - The changes you've been implementing over the past few weeks was due to it originally being written for 30 and then having 4 people not stick it out. Blocks, Block transitions, pass-throughs and such are very difficult to make simple interval adjustments on so segments had to be completely re-done.

I should be heading to SC either Thursday, if the power comes back on, or next Thurs-Sat to clean and detail key segments.

i love pathways my marching band walhalla high school marching band did this show this year it was so much fun learning it and playing it espicially my parts for bass and the whole drumlines

Just like a band kid to brag about his own school... I think they move plenty and ive seen this band-when they arent marching there is some sort of movement

My school, Mesa Ridge High School is doing this show. we made it alot harder and we move more. i am a snare playa. a beast at it too. who ever made this show is a genius. its fun to play.
