  • Bachmann's is a robot.

  • "Gold has no intrinsic value" So if that kid found a hunk of gold in the ground, then he would do what exactly? Throw it away? That type of question highlights the failure of higher education in ways I could never illustrate with my own words.

  • sweden and norway...socialism works

  • Soviet Union? Bachmann is drumming up fear from the 60s with all her McCarthyism.

It was also sad to see them gloss over the Socialism question with a bunch of mockery. America has Socialistic values in its core, and plenty of other countries do as well but just much more expanded (and more open) ways. Some countries with very high amounts of Socialism do fantastically, providing healthcare, education, and many other benefits that by now much of the world sees as necessary for prosperity.

  • You've been watching Michael Moore too much. You're all fucked up.

  • Frankly I don't know if i'd want to get my healthcare in this country, vs socialized healthcare systems like in UK or Russia. We have a very high infant mortality rate, worse than Cuba. So, let's see, if I'm thinking of having a baby, then perhaps yes, I'd want to get Healthcare in UK or Russia. If you look at the facts, the question is easy, if you look only at ideologies then it becomes much murkier.

  • There is a vicious cycle people get stuck in. Government intervenes or doesn't do its job in regulation and systems fail, then what do they turn to, to fix the problem?.. more government.

"We the people" share the blame for our problems. We can't simply blame the government, that is, that is after all, of the people. We have been a sleep for a while.

Thanks Dr. Paul for curing our apathy.

  • RP-Bachmann 2012!
