The ugliness, the absurdity, the illogic that is Denver Colorado's Ban on Pit Bulls.
Denver's Municipal Code Section 8-55, "Pit Bulls Prohibited" enables City officals to legally kill dogs based on breed ONLY and not individual actions or behavior.
Since 2005, Denver has killed over 3000 dogs... some dangerous, most well tempered, family pets.

NOW, the animal community is looking at Denver and their illogical ordinance for its lack of accuracy and its lack of effectiveness in bringing about "true public safety.

  • This shouldn't be an issue, just keep your Pit Bull away from other animals, very very simple.

  • @ConiferTreez Hmm, for having 4 pit bulls of my own and having been around the breed for over 20 years now, I dont think I have ever heard such a TERRIBLE piece of advise ever before. Not socializing your dog with other animals? Great, and while we are at it, why dont we put them on 8ft long chain bolted to a tree, deny them exercise, food, water, vet care, and a family to belong to. PLEASE, dont help. Your type of ignorance is what causes the problem with these dogs in the first place.

  • @DaziDog absolutely not. Pit Bulls are combat animals and we LOVE them for it. They have bone crushing jaws, world class athleticism, and enough gameness to fight 3 wars!! But the AVERAGE, pedestrian "pet" owner should not be owning these dogs. Most average people do not know anything about spring pole, weight pull, and other bull dog sports that take the edge off of a pit bulldog, and these dogs can definitely be hazardous in the hands of someone like yourself.

  • @ConiferTreez Hazardous... yep... thats why we win competitions left and right, our local police and animal control refer people to us when they need pit bull training, we have rescued/ rehab'd over 3 dozen ex-fighting dogs, and the list goes on and on and on. Absolutley hazardous. What? are you like the town idiot or...?

  • every time I see this vid it brings tears to my eyes it would take a sick menatly ill person to do such a thing.Wow anyone who sees this vid and says yes it was the right thing to do needs his head examined..... you can get into the whole debate on this breed and all youll get is a billion assholes with a billion opinions and it still wouldnt solve anything .This just proves how menaly unstable some so called humans are .Word of advise denver stop breeding with your cousins

  • I legit almost threw up..... Thats some sick shit right there pitbulls are one of my favorite breeds of dogs.....

  • @DaziDog Oh c'mon now, juvenile insults? Pathetic, grow up & discuss things like a man. You're uneducated on the Fighting Breeds of canine, not a big deal, most people are. You haven't done anything for the breed, doubt you've ever seen a real live game dog. What kind of competitions are you winning with your bull dogs? Weight Pull? Spring Pole? Hog Catch? Please, elaborate :-)

  • The problem IS the dogs, in fact. Pit Bulldogs are a Fighting Breed of dog, and the fighting breeds are not for everyone. These are not dogs that were meant to be paraded around park districts with wimpy golden retrievers. These dogs are gladiators, and while they must always be amiable & loving towards human beings, they can obviously tend to be highly animal aggressive.
