@moviemowdown Because cameras that were low quality like this were one of the first ones that could record color. Watch videos recorded with the Lomokino Super35! That's way below 25fps. There are already hundreds of thousands of tutorials demonstrating how to achieve this color. Because Ilike AETuts+ I'd expect them to more insightful, and go beyond just the color correction. Lens blur, maybe color burns, low fps, a few glitches, etc.

@thedevo01 Why bellow 25?

TUTORIAL PLS!!!

tutorial?

I think in most of these videos, it's not so much that people achieved a "film" look they achieved a "degraded film look"

@WagnerAbercrombie as I said, analog cameras that recorded like this weren't able to capture so smoothly.
So [flickering + lower FPS] would still be part of the educational side of the video. Then again, the colors are very nice, it just isn't convincing.

@thedevo01 Pretty sure the video was just to show you the effect.
The color correction was nice, but cameras that filmed similar to this never had such high FPS capturing abilities. You should have decreased the FPS below 25.
Needless to say, the plot was rubbish.
