The Mount Tahoma Dance Team took 4th in the Hip - Hop category at their Second time appearance at the WIAA Drill/Dance State Competition.

Choreographed By: Myself (Larieza Leigh); Assistant Coach

I am truly blessed to have been able to choreograph a routine that has gone so far in the competition scene this year. I am also very blessed to have a GREAT Coach that believed that I could do it. I am thankful and grateful for a team that is kind, caring, funny, energetic, supportive, and all around great kids. This year has been a blast, I could have not experienced this Journey with any other team or ask for a better year. The competition team is full of hard workers, they are dedicated and dance their hearts out on the floor, but they could have not done it without great coaching from their head coach, or the support of the other dancers on the team that cheer them on and give them support and constructive criticism. We are a family and we stick in this together. This is our second time going to state and we placed 4th in the Hip Hop category, we are very blessed for the experience and plan on working hard for next year. No matter what place we would have gotten, In my heart you all are my number one winners, your enthusiasm, sweat, tears, and dedication, has earned a first place trophy in my heart.
